STEP 1
Policy owner or their representative request a Life Settlement application packet by calling Regal Settlement Group (888) 734-2555, or our secure online evaluation form.

STEP 2
The application is completed along with the requested authorizations. The application includes authorizations to collect medical records and up to date information from the applicants insurance carrier about the policy to be sold.

STEP 3
Regal Settlement Group collects needed information including attending physician statements, insurance policy copies and illustrations, etc.

STEP 4
The information is submitted to our multiple funding providers to obtain the highest bids possible.

STEP 5
The best settlement offer is relayed to the policy owner or their representative for review and acceptance.

STEP 6
Upon acceptance of an offer, contracts are created by the purchasing provider and then forwarded to the policy owner or their representative for review and
signatures.

STEP 7
The signed documents are returned to RSG for document review and then to the funding provider. Requests are made to the insurance carrier for ownership change and other current policy information required to complete the transaction.

STEP 8
Upon written verification that changes of ownership and beneficiary have been recorded, settlement funds are wire transferred into the account designated by the policy owner (seller).

The process typically takes 3 to 12 weeks to complete, depending on how long it takes to receive documents such as physician statements.
